I love this, OS! The bright colors, the dof...even the tiny droplets of water on the grasses. IMHO...simply awesome!!!

Hi Tim,
I agree with Ken about the colour. It is great! The image is also very crisp. I wish the shot would have a more clearer focus. Thanks for sharing.

Tim, as noted already the colors are great and soft like pastels. The bg is a bit busy and distracting, but those colors are just so nice that they stand out for the attention. This is pleasing to me.

Thanks for the kind words Ken. I'm working on a 4 image series of my garden as it changes with the seasons. In that I am not a big fan of Autumn, I decided to start with shots from Spring.

Gary, I agree... The shot is busy, but it seems to present well as an 8x12. My main concern is the wilted flower in the center.

Yoyo, thanks for the comment on focus. I think I should have just been more aggressive with USM when I down-sized it for the web. The print looks fine.

I’ll post the others for comments as I get to them.
Thanks again,
Tim

Hey Tim, I like this a lot. It could be my monitor, but it seems a bit bright...but others are finding the colors to be fine, so this may just be the computer.
I think the wilted flower is fine. It goes really well with the title.

Julsoph,
It's not your monitor. It's your calibrated eye. That version is too bright. I over did it trying to bring on the brightness of Spring, but it lost a lot of depth and rich color when I printed it.

I reset the exposure back to nuetral after I posted this and it looks much better in print.
Good catch...
Tim
