The Park Service has changed the lighting at the Lincoln Memorial from fairly even lighting to a much whiter spot lighting that focuses on the head and upper body. It is dramatic but I am not quite sure how I feel about it yet.
2 photos of the new lighting and one photo lit by the rising sun.

Dramatic is right! Whoa! I had no idea of the change. Will have to go down and check that out. Of the three your sunrise image is tops for interest of perspective and lighting. # 2 looks like a portrait studio image. The first image I like least although I understand the concept of the textured frame/doorway to Lincoln. Feels a little clausterphobic to me, but I'm weird. :D Thanks for the heads up.

The new lighting in interesting. My favorite shot for the lighting is the 1st one. I love the mystery it adds to the image by casting the lower part of the statue in shadow. I don't like the composition of the shot, but I like the way you represent the new lighting in it.
