Wow, really sharp photo. It almost looks like infared film. I played with cropping it and like it better w/o so much of the foreground, which although it is pretty with the light shining across it just doesnt add anything.

Interesting compositon btw...Though it isn't necessary a good composition, as some things seem to be missing, it is different: maybe cause of the strong verticals and the bright area in the middle of the photo? Maybe if a bear was right in the middle, or a least a few dear, it would be complete. Nice tripod stabilization.

Emily, this is quite amazing, I love it in every ways. This is beautifully composed and exposed. There is a surreal feel to it due to the lighting.

GB1...thank you again for your critique on this. You may be right about cropping some of the foreground out...I'll take a looksee and see if I like it. :) I actually don't use a tripod at all. I plan to get one, as there are some types of photos that I'm going to need dead-on steadiness.
