I'm working on a project for a local company and we need a digital SLR with interchangable lenses for differing job's. But we need a IR remote zoom and shoot function.

Which camera would give this functionality, I've been searching the web and looked at Canon, Fuji, Nikon and Olympus all have a very impressive range, but which manufacture offers a camera with these qualities.

Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

It would be difficult to find a SLR with remote controllable zoom, because the zoom itself is on the lens, and the only motor provided is for controlling focus.
Why do you need remote zoom capability? Note that you won't be able to see what area is in the viewfinder from a distance.
If you can explain exactly what kind of photos you will be taking, i'm sure a lot of people here will be happy to answer.
