I recently had the opportunity to shoot some sports at the World Masters Games going on in Edmonton. I know they're not SI quality, but I had some fun shooting. I shot most of these in available light with an EOS 3, 135mm f2.0L, and Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 800 (some 200). Comments are welcome.

That's a different sort of sports subject, huh? But I bet it offered some good challenges and a lot of variety. I like the second one a lot. It's got a great composition and has that grand pageant feel.

Not sure what I think of pictures of masters beach volleyball. Maybe that makes me a little uptight? ;)

Thanks PJ. It was a great experience overall because I got to shoot so many different sports in a single day. I don't think I understand what you mean with the masters beach volleyball (please elaborate!).

Here's a couple more on here just in case everybody is too lazy to check the whole set. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/specialed/sets/50169/)

I think I'll not elaborate lest I put my foot too much farther into my virtual mouth.

I like the Mountie photo!
