Yes I know these 2 quite different, but I like each one.

The Nikon Coolpix 5900 for its features and being compact & the Minolta Dimage Z20 for its SLR feel and its zoom. The Z20 does not have all the scene modes and I am wondering if it will take as good a picture. Or buy the 5900 and do the zooming in on the PC (with software).

I welcome any thoughts.
