I can't see what your trying to convey with this photo.

A closer crop to get rid of the shadows and the walls on the bottom edges need to be removed. as they divert your eyes.

I do like the detail in the brick work but the lighting needs a little more consistency on both sides of the door.

It is really out of context. This building was built in the 1800's. I liked the brickwork, and the door almost looks as if it is an entrance to a dungeon. If you were to see the rest of the area, it would make more sense.

I like it but a little fill flash on the upper part of the door would have been nice.

And this is exactly why I love this forum. One person may absolutely hate something, and another may like it. A fine example is my aircraft series. The few I posted on this forum got no replies. However, when I got them blown up and showed them to some locals, they were well received. Especially the older aircraft with sepia/b&w, and the cockpit photos. Perhaps because the few that have seen the entire series are older, and it takes them back, to a time and place that I hope we may never see.
