I'm starting to get excited about baseball season. I love baseball! I've never shot it, but I sure love watching it. Lately I've been watching lots of hockey. I'd like to shoot hockey.

I like the "reflection" in the background of this photo. That actually catches my attention more than the bat connecting with the ball. It's a neat photo.

Thanks for the comments! This shot was luck s much of anything. I noticed the warmup batter was swining with the pitch so I figured I'd try and get a shot of the two of them swinging at a pitch and got really lucky on the timing. I was using a Canon 75-300 f4.5 lens on a cold cloudy day, but I really liked the effect, even though the batters face isn't as clear as I would like. The motion blur of the bat & ball work nicley as dose the warmup batters motion blur and the fact he is just slightly out of focus due to the DOF. I did crop it off the laft and top removing the catcher and the top of the fence which were both a bit distracting.
