View Full Version : very interestign PS skills natatbeach 04-08-2005, 04:46 AM came across this site http://www.rapidnet.com/~rernster/ VERY "interesting" adina 04-08-2005, 06:31 AM Can he/she do that? I mean with the pics of the celebrities? I'm assuming if they are trying to make some $ off of this, they didn't take those originals. And the woman in the yellow dress doesn't really seem like she's enjoying the party :) bmadau 04-08-2005, 06:55 AM I can't believe a person can acutally make money doing that. None of what I saw looked good. Given a little time, I could probably do that and I don't even have any PS skills beyond adjusting cololrs and levels. Axle 04-08-2005, 07:07 AM well that certainly is interesting. Anyone with enough skills in PS can do this. natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:10 AM And the woman in the yellow dress doesn't really seem like she's enjoying the party :) I wouldn't either if i had just been dwarfed to a four foot tall looking cut out LOL natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:11 AM I can't believe a person can acutally make money doing that. None of what I saw looked good. Given a little time, I could probably do that and I don't even have any PS skills beyond adjusting cololrs and levels. I don't have the greatest skills eaither but the quality was a little scary natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:11 AM well that certainly is interesting. Anyone with enough skills in PS can do this. which leads me to believe this person should not...I totally support anyone learning PS but just don't market yourself at that level :) Asylum Steve 04-08-2005, 08:59 AM The "services" listed on this person's site are simply a very basic repertoire of ps skills any self-respecting digital retoucher would have. And yes, I agree that (IMO) this person isn't very good at it... :( As for celebrities, the only images they would be able to market (legally) would be either public domain stuff or stock that they had bought licensing rights to. My guess is public domain... Axle 04-08-2005, 09:04 AM which leads me to believe this person should not...I totally support anyone learning PS but just don't market yourself at that level I'll agree with you Nat. This person should put up a 'how to' instead of marketing themselves to do it for the client. villenadecorte 04-08-2005, 11:00 AM Nat, thanks for sharing that... if anything it got me laughing...that is so funny. Did you see the weight loss one? That had me cracking up- her boobs need a reduction to go with the rest of the pic ;) another view 04-08-2005, 11:53 AM I don't know why, but for some reason I feel a lot more confident in my Photoshop skills. :D Chunk 04-08-2005, 12:06 PM I wouldn't either if i had just been dwarfed to a four foot tall looking cut out LOLDwarfed or stretched?? :D [ducking...running...] Lava Lamp 04-08-2005, 12:58 PM came across this site http://www.rapidnet.com/~rernster/ VERY "interesting" Wow. I missed the rolling eyes and thought you were serious. Jeepers. It's like they are trying to be funny -- kinda like those "How to spot counterfeit Mini Cooper" ads you see. Asylum Steve 04-08-2005, 02:52 PM It's like they are trying to be funny I don't get the impression that the site is parody, if that's what you mean. I think the site creators are very serious about offering those services for money, just not very good at doing it... natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:35 PM Nat, thanks for sharing that... if anything it got me laughing...that is so funny. Did you see the weight loss one? That had me cracking up- her boobs need a reduction to go with the rest of the pic ;) you noticed that too???!!!! they reduced everything else...lol natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:36 PM Dwarfed or stretched?? :D [ducking...running...] ha!!!!! there's one in every bunch...why I oughta.... ;) natatbeach 04-08-2005, 08:37 PM Wow. I missed the rolling eyes and thought you were serious. Jeepers. It's like they are trying to be funny -- kinda like those "How to spot counterfeit Mini Cooper" ads you see. Steve is right on...they really were serious which makes it that much scarier... even without seeing the rolling eyes you couldn't have thought I meant that....he he that's funny |
